Types of Ballistic Panels Available

Ballistic panels are all made from the same material—very tightly woven fiberglass, enhanced with special adhesives to slow and trap a bullet. These panels are available in four stock dimensions:

3’ ✕ 10’
4’ ✕ 8’
4 ✕ 10’

Bulletproof panels are available in eight different levels of ballistic protection. These levels offer resilience against a variety of shots from a variety of different firearms. Levels 1 through 3 provide protection from shots from common handguns. Levels 4 through 8 provide protection from shots from different types of rifles.

The UL 752 standard sets the bar for bulletproof barrier ratings. The official standard has 10 levels; we manufacture Levels 1 through 8, which are the level of protection most commonly used.
